These Terms govern your use of onswer.app and the audit and monitoring service it offers (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What Onswer does
Onswer queries large-language models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and others) with realistic buyer questions about your domain, detects whether your brand is mentioned, and produces a structured report and recommendations. We offer:
- A free one-time snapshot per domain.
- Paid monitoring plans that re-scan the same questions over time and alert you to changes.
2. Acceptable use
You may audit any domain you own or have explicit permission to evaluate. By submitting a domain you confirm one of those is true.
You may NOT use Onswer to:
- Submit domains you do not own and have no legitimate reason to audit at scale.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically harvest the Service.
- Bypass our rate limits using rotating emails, IPs, or scripted submissions.
- Use the audit recommendations to deceive AI models, manipulate consumer choice via fake content, or produce content that violates the policies of the underlying LLM providers.
3. Your account and audits
Free audits do not require an account; the audit URL is your access token. Treat it like a password if you'd rather keep your snapshot private.
Paid plans create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
4. Payment, refunds, and cancellation
Paid plans bill monthly or annually in advance. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds: if you cancel within 14 days of your first paid charge and you're not satisfied, email billing@onswer.app and we'll refund in full, no questions. After that, prorated refunds are at our discretion.
5. The audit data is yours
You own your brand, your domain, and the audit reports we produce for you. We retain a copy to provide the Service (and to improve it in aggregate, never identified). You can request export or deletion at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
6. The Service is ours
The Onswer brand, software, prompts, design, and aggregate analytics belong to us. You get a license to use the Service while you're paying for it (or while you're on the free tier). You don't get a license to copy or resell it.
7. AI-generated content disclaimer
The audit content is generated by third-party LLMs. We do our best to surface accurate signals but:
- AI answers change daily — your visibility today may differ tomorrow.
- LLMs hallucinate. We cannot guarantee every word in an answer excerpt is factual.
- Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees that following them will rank you higher.
Treat the audit as a directional signal, not a contractual promise.
8. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no SLA on the free tier. Paid plans have a target of 99.5% monthly uptime. Service credits for prolonged outages on paid plans are available on request to billing@onswer.app.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost revenue, lost opportunity, etc.).
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose legal risk — usually after a warning, except in serious cases.
11. Changes to these Terms
If we update these Terms materially, we'll bump the "Effective" date and email users with active paid plans at least 14 days before the change. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes go to the courts of São Paulo unless a consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you stronger forum rights — in which case those apply.
